Mario Dell'Agli

Position

Associate Professor in Pharmacognosy at the Università degli Studi di Milano-Department of Pharmacological and Biomolecular Sciences.

Research activities and skills

The research activity is devoted to the study of natural products derived from medicinal or edible plants. The approach combines pharmacological and phytochemical investigations to connect a biological effect to a specific chemical entity. The main areas of interest are the anti- inflammatory and antioxidant effects of dietary polyphenols in the gastro-intestinal tract, and the effect of polyphenols derived from plants against skin inflammatory diseases.
