The INVEST Summer School 2025, “MEDEA – Mediterranean Diet, Biodiversity and Functional Foods”, promoted by the University of Milano-Bicocca, offers a high-level international learning experience focused on nutrition, health and sustainability. The programme, delivered entirely in English, combines online learning with on-site activities. The online phase started on 24 June 2025, while the residential week will take place from 15 to 20 September 2025 in Marsala, Sicily. The Summer School awards 3 ECTS credits and is aimed at students in Medicine, Biology and Biotechnology. The curriculum covers topics ranging from the Mediterranean diet and biodiversity to food sustainability and functional foods. The approach is multidisciplinary and strongly oriented towards scientific innovation, with particular attention to the link between environment, nutrition and human well-being. Thanks to the INVEST project, this initiative represents an accessible and inclusive opportunity for both academic and personal growth. A unique experience in the heart of the Mediterranean, where science, territory and culture come together.
