Research activities and skills

My field of interest deals with the phytochemical characterization of plant matrixes with the aim of identifying bioactive compounds of interest both for human and pollinators health. Specifically, my work focuses on the description of environmental factors both of biotic and abiotic origin able to trigger the biosynthesis of bioactive secondary compounds (e.g., antioxidants, anti-inflammatory).
