Research activities and skills

My research activity has been focused on food analysis, with particular attention to food safety. In particular at the beginning of her research career, has developed studies on characterization of bioactive compounds in plant and foods using several techniques such as liquid chromatography-high resolution mass spectrometry (LC-HRMS) gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) have been performed. Moreover another research line is focused on the development, optimization and validation of analytical methods for determination of food contaminants (mycotoxins and environmental pollutants) in complex food matrices using several analytical techniques.
